Scopitones

The Scopitone was a jukebox that played music videos for the public before the internet and MTV came alone. It has a 16 mm film component and was originated in France. The films were called 'Soundies' and were put in nightclubs, bars, and amusement areas. By the 1960's the popularity of this machine quickly died down, the very last one ever made in 1978.
